Is AI Un-Christian?

The Truth Every Believer Should Know About Technology and Faith

Let’s Talk About the Elephant in the Room

Artificial intelligence. 🤖

Some people are excited about it. Others are scared to death of it. And honestly? I get it.

With all the wild headlines and the unknowns, AI can feel overwhelming—especially when it seems to be moving faster than we can keep up.

Some Christians are even asking, “Should we even be using this?”

Here’s my honest take, friend: I believe AI is simply a tool. 🔨 That's all.

It’s not good or bad by itself. It depends on how we use it. Just like money, social media, or even fire 🔥, it can be used for good or bad.

But in the hands of someone living a Christian and a faith-led life? It becomes a powerful asset.

God Has Always Given Us Tools 🧰

Think about it. From the printing press to electricity ⚡ to the internet, every generation has been handed tools that changed the world.

At first, those tools were met with suspicion. But eventually, they opened doors to share knowledge, spread the Gospel, and make life better.

AI is simply the newest tool in our toolbox. God has allowed us to live in one of the most incredible times in history, with resources at our fingertips that can save us hours of time, spark creativity, and help us reach people all over the world with our message.

The real danger isn’t AI, it’s idolatry. If we put more trust in AI than we do in God, we’ve missed the mark.

But if we use it under His authority, it can free us to live more fully in our calling.

What Scripture Says About Wisdom

Proverbs 18:15 says: “The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.”

That means it’s not only okay to learn and use new tools—it’s wise to do so. God calls us to discernment, not fear.

To seek wisdom, not hide from it.

AI doesn’t replace prayer, scripture, or faith. But it can help us steward our time and talents more effectively.

How I Personally Use AI in My Business

Let me give you some practical examples of how I use AI to serve the women God has called me to help:

  • To brainstorm product ideas faster

  • To research for education on a topic

  • To help me write and edit with clarity

  • To automate small tasks so I can focus on people, not paperwork

  • To create content to reach my target audience

Could AI be misused? Absolutely.

But so can money, influence, or even good intentions.

The question isn’t “Is this safe?”, the question is “Am I stewarding this tool with wisdom and in line with God's word?”

Why I’m Not Afraid of AI

Friend, I’m not afraid of AI. I’m thankful for it.

I believe AI can help you move forward in your business faster, with more confidence and less stress. And that means you’ll have more time to focus on what matters most, your family, your faith, and the people you’re called to serve.

So if you’ve been sitting on the fence about AI, let me lovingly challenge you: don’t let fear stop you from moving forward. You’re smart enough. You’re capable. And you’re not doing this alone.

I’m here to walk with you step by step...no tech degree required.

Final Thoughts

So, is AI Un-Christian? No. AI isn’t spiritual, it’s a tool. And like every tool throughout history, it comes down to how we choose to use it.

Let’s use it wisely. Let’s use it faithfully. And let’s get excited about what’s possible when we put it to work for God’s glory.

To your success and His glory,

💖 Melanie
